At Far Hills Design Build, we’re always looking for the best products to use in our custom home builds and new additions. So, when clients ask us to install radiant floor heating, we suggest using Warmboard products.
What is Warmboard?
Warmboard is the best radiant floor heating system we have found. This type of central underfloor heating is a great way to achieve temperature control in your home. The modular panels go under the flooring. They have channels for tubing that alight to fill the area. The tubing attaches to a hydronic circuit that pumps warm water under the floor to create comfortable radiant heat in minutes.
Why Use Warmboard?
We choose Warmboard because of their industry-leading design. Warmboard is easier to install than comparable products. Plus, they are more energy efficient. They employ low water temperatures which means it works with solar and geothermal systems. Homeowners can relax in comfort as this radiant floor heating system warms your home.
Where to Use?
You can use radiant floor heating to heat anything from the entire house or a single room. Many people want floor heating in the bathroom because they want a warm place to shower. When installed through the whole house, Warmboard lets you employ zoning to optimize climate control. It can be one temperature in the kitchen and a different temperature in the bedroom.
When to Install?
The best time to install underfloor radiant heating is during a major home renovation, room addition or a new home build. The company has different products for renovating versus new construction. The new construction model installs directly over the slap; whereas, the renovation model goes over the existing subflooring.
